Tommy goes above and beyond to care for his clients. Our family has been under his guidance following 4 different surgeries. He has created strategic plans from the time of injury, to surgery, to back playing sports and staying healthy long term. Tommy tailored the plan to meet our kids' individual comfort levels while building confidence and even follows up outside of office hours. We are very thankful for Tommy and the care he has given our children.

Tommy, was amazing throughout my long recovery of ACL surgery. There were days I felt discouraged, but Tommy’s positive attitude , patience, and unwavering support kept me motivated. He celebrated every small victory with me, which made the challenging process feel less daunting. Thanks to his support, I regained full function in my knee and returned to the activities I love. He was more than a physical therapist; he was a coach and a friend throughout my healing journey. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone facing a similar injury.

I really tore up my right shoulder . I have had a few injuries in my life and also had other physical therapist that were good but Tommy was by far the best. Tommy would not only explain why you were doing the therapy but how it would work best for me. He knows his work very well! When I went back for my fist checkup with the doctor, he could not believe how much movement I had gained. Hats off to Tommy !!!

My experience working with Tommy was extremely progressive. He took the time to recognize days when my body/energy level was at its best and worst and changed the exercises accordingly. Not only was I able to walk and run properly again. I became stronger than I have ever been before and also more confident in myself and my ability to workout. I went from having no ACL and barely able to walk to running a marathon and starting my own run club. Working with Tommy was an absolute pleasure.

The first day I hobbled into physical therapy and met Tommy I was very nervous and scared for what the next long 9 months would entail. I had heard, “PT sucks” and “I hate it” but as time went on Tommy made me really enjoy it! Not only did he encourage me and strengthen me to get back to playing basketball but he made me feel seen. He would ask me about school and fun things I was doing which helped me keep a positive mindset and make the 9 months go faster! He would push me hard during training and congratulate me when I surpassed a goal. I was nervous when returning to sports but after the activities he had me doing in PT I felt ready and jumped right back into playing once I passed my tests!

I started working with Dr. Gisin more than five years ago. First, in physical therapy following a hip replacement, and then for regular, progressive athletic training. When I started with Tom, I was struck by three characteristics: He cared about my recovery (and not about the time booked); he was highly diagnostic in his approach (that is, how am I presenting); and he was very specific in working with me on a personal program that was tailored, to the last stitch, to my particular progress and requirements. No wonder, Tom moved from the a standard practice to a custom approach. Second, as for the athletic training, well, I have to say that I've never been in better shape, with numbers to prove it. I'm sixty years old with a biological age (determined by the Evolt 360 body scan) of fifty years. Yet, when I started with Dr. Gisin five year ago, my chronological age and my biological age were both 55. So, working out with Tom has made me five years younger than I was, and my biological age is a full 10 years younger than my 60 years on the books! If you want to 'push back the tide of age', you want to work with Dr. Gisin. He has the patience, perspective and wisdom to help me improve my strength, my muscle tone, and my flexibility. If it weren't for Tom, I would not be skiing, skinning, hiking, and swimming as well, with as much intrinsic satisfaction as I am.
